I am going to indulge myself with this first self-congratulatory post and then forever more leave them to an annual reports just after the first of each year. When I set out with this grand endeavor I set a goal of hitting 10,000 unique hits for the blog in the first month and 30,000 views – I still not sure I understand what that second number means, I just get a stats report on each story. As far as I can tell, “views” mean non-unique visits – so every time anyone clicks on a story, no matter how many times, that counts as a view. I really thought that it would be a stretch to hit those numbers but I wanted to aim high. Well, Thinking Right completed its first month last night and our results exceeded my wildest expectations - 21,001 unique hits and 270,078 views.
Here is the breakdown of Thinking Right’s top ten stories of the month by unique hits and by views:
Unique Hits
1. 2078 - Howard Stern’s Funny But Tragic Interviews Of Obama Supporters – Evidently Howard Stern really sells. This piece took me about 1:37 to put together and yet it drew by far the largest audience to date for Thinking Right. Well, that is it for now. Thanks again for your attention – it is much appreciated.
Congratulations!
How about covering this story:
For years, Republican leaders have been ragging over non-existent voter fraud, using it as a drummed up excuse to push voter ID laws that could disenfranchise millions.
Well, well, it turns out there IS fraud… from REPUBLICANS. In Florida, of all places. Rep Ted Deutch has called for a bipartisan probe. And the reaction from the GOP?
ZERO!
OK, whoever did this (and it looks like the GOP my have culpability) should be prosecuted. What about Acorn, Mayor Daley, and all of the the voting dead? Are you willing to admit fault on the DNC side?
We your avid readers are still waiting for some genuine libertarian/conservative articles unpolluted by partisan backbiting and the insidious neo-Marxist, Big Goverment myths of the so-called neo-con movement which has co-opted and thus corrupted so much of the Republican intelligentsia. But Congrats. Looks like good numbers. How about a demographic breakdown by geographic location? Where in the world – and where in the USA – are your page viewers?
great points altogether, you just won a new reader. What could you recommend about your
post that you just made some days in the past? Any positive?
