- Stan Morgan
Stan is retired and lives in Oak Ridge, TN. He was a baby when his father died in 1937. His mother, a widow with 6 boys under the age of 13, was forced to accept Public Assistance (welfare) to raise her children. She despised her circumstances but instilled in her children a belief in self-reliance, a passion to excel at what they did, and a need to learn. Equipped with the concepts instilled by his mother, Stan began working at age 18. His career was primarily in the Aerospace Industry and involved positions of ever increasing responsibilities. The final eight years of his career were spent as a Senior Staff Member of a major U.S. government contractor assigned as an advisor to the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) in their HQ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. At the end of that assignment, Stan retired. His proudest accomplishment in life is his 3 children (2 daughters and 1 son) who are responsible citizens, free-thinking, and caring adults. Politically, Stan does not identify with any established party, but says he is “A strict Constitutionalist." Having watched the evolution of politics in the U.S. from FDR to Obama, and due to his background and experience, Stan has a slightly different viewpoint of the challenges faced by Americans today.
