Four years ago Howard Stern sent one of his staffers into Harlem to ask Obama supporters what they thought about his campaign promises, only thing is that they intentionally swapped Obama’s and McCain’s policies. Sadly, all of the Obama supporters sad that they fully supported McCain’s policies and choices (pro-life, Sarah Palin) when they were attributed to Obama. Sorry, there is only audio here.
Despite all of the publicity from his stunt four years ago, Stern tried the stunt once again, this time completely mixing and matching the facts to the degree that even my West Highland Terrier could tell that the reporter was mixing up the facts:
Everyone always turns to the founding fathers when discussing “what is America about?” When it comes to the franchise, the right to vote, that is not a great place to start because the founding fathers only allowed white, male landowners to vote. I do buy part of the landowner argument, they argued that you had to have skin in the game to have the right to decide how to govern. Obviously we all feel that a wider right to vote is appropriate in this day and age, but after hearing these interviews I really think there should be a baseline requirement that you know what country you live in and some other basic facts.
“Obviously we all feel that a wider right to vote is appropriate in this day and age, but after hearing these interviews I really think there should be a baseline requirement that you know what country you live in and some other basic facts.” You’re not going to start pretending you are interested in the facts? Mr. Willis. Tsk-tsk. Take your daily dose of Zionist controlled US media – with or without the commercials Tivo’d out – and go to bed. When you wake up tomorrow the FED will still be there to suck your earnings away and our sweet friends and brothers in Israel will still be headed for glow in the dark status. Good night.
I learned a long time ago to NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the stupidity of the American public!
Still makes me sad.
Makes you sad? What? Look maybe, just maybe,
we all don’t want control or leadership going in the direction of a govenment or position.Id like the chance to see things without any government whatsoever.Sure they scare you all with anarchy and terror and destruction without the safe cuddly army and government around, we would surely all perish.Yeah right, maybe YOU will, but WE THE REAL PEOPLE, shall never perish because we use wisdom to fufill our destiny. You THE NEW WORLD ORDER shall perish to your own POLICY.
AND WE MEEK SHALL ENHERIT OUR EARTH BACK.
(besides with all that goes on in politics,
why should anyone care who gets in or out?)
they dont represnt us,they dont serve us,
they represent who paid their campaings,
they serve themselves.all im sying is
with all their crap…..Ignorance is Bliss.
Dear Washington D.C., YOU DO NOT EXIST.
Yeah, the whole thing about uneducated people makes me sad too. Sometimes it makes me downright angry. I mean, how in the world can it be that the states with the highest percentage of registered Republicans can also be the states with the highest number of people on food stamps?
I saw a video recently of people in the South who claim to hate Obama simply because he is Black. Yes, poor and desperate White people living in squalor and getting all manner of welfare and they hate Obama because he is Black.
If I find the video I will post it for you, but it has been a couple of months since I saw it.
I would tend to agree on a minimum “IQ” requirement for voting but I bet neither the Repblicans nor the Democrats would be very supportive of the idea.
Nincompoops abound in both parties. As a Democrat, of course I say that the majority of them are Republican, but I admit I have a bias.
The above statements are made tongue-in-cheek, and you know it.
Pathetic. No wonder our Country is in the Mess its in ! What is really sad, is that these Derelicts could dominate this election and decide the future of this country for the rest of us.
Dear Susie Olmo:
Please note that the bat swings both ways: as I have already mentioned, there are videos out there of poor, dirty, toothless, desperate Southern white people living in squalor and getting all manner of welfare, getting free health care and food stamps~~~and they claim to hate Obama because he is Black.
Do you honestly suspect those people will be voting Democrat this November?
The truth is that I don’t go so low as to suggest that these people represent the typical republican voter any more than the woman in the “Obamaphone” video represents the typical democrat voter.
How sad that your world view is so skewed by unquestioning partisanship.
who cares what lies are told be whom?
and is especially true of the U.S. Government. Keeping the truth from people helps a government achieve its goals, for if the people knew the truth they might demand that the government start actually serving them.
One way to keep the truth from people, aside from today’s favored approach of simply suppressing it, is to feed them a steady diet of compelling distractions.
Elections are one such distraction. Elections arouse peoples’ passions and keep them entertained for weeks or months. Elections even give people the illusion of participation, when, in fact, elections mean absolutely nothing in a country like the United States, which is run by money. Of course, elections are run by, and legitimized by governments.
